In Your Face
The colors of this painting got a little crazy, like circus crazy. But I'm liking how it came out. This cat's eyes reminded me of the poster for the musical Cats-so striking! He has a very regal, wild, tigerlike face, don't you think? I am enjoying doing these really tight close ups of the animal faces. If you have a cat yourself, you have probably seen this in your face at about 5 am checking to see if you are awake. Isn't it time to eat?

Magnifique portrait de chat... les couleurs dansent et chantent bien ensemble.
Bisous
HA! Too true, too true! Feed me or else I chew your face off!
Well done!
Wow! Beautiful kitty rendered in super luscious paint!
Ann, this grabbed my attention immediately in the thumbnail. Bright and perfect with the color choices I might add. It really is amazing the detail you can see if you take the time to look - as you do. The eyes are indeed gorgeous but I tend to see these eyes when the dog is messing with any one of the three cats. That said, I have on cat in particular that begins walking on me, kneading me, putting butt in my face, etc.,...about 3 to 4 a.m. without fail.
A delicious painting! The colors and texture are purrfect for your little feline.
I love your use of grays in this. Really made those colors come out nicely. Lovely!
The kitty is great. You are a master with a palette knife.
I really like this darling cat. He looks to be such a sweetheart.
Fantastic piece! Love your knife work and colors!
