Walking around Newport RI, you will see so many historic colonial houses. I just love the colors of this historic homes. They have such wonderful character and a unique style. They are very fun to paint at this wee size too.

Charlotte's Web was one of my favorite books when I was a kid. This little piggy reminded me so much of Wilbur. I just loved his cute face and had to paint it.

I am getting excited for summer and an upcoming trip with some art friends to the beautiful island of Nantucket. I took the reference photo for this painting while Polo and I were on a bike ride over to Madaket on a perfect summer day on the island. This scene just looked so peaceful that I knew I wanted to paint it.

I am excited that we are turning the corner weatherize and brighter days are just around the corner. This is one of my favorite views in Boston. It's from Boston Common looking over at Beacon Hill. It's a great place to hang out in the summertime, walk your dogs, or just go for a stroll.
