I am not a morning person, but last summer while vacationing on Cape Cod I saw this beautiful sunrise coming up through the window and had to get out of bed to take some photos. And yesterday, I finally got around to painting it. Of course, after I was done taking photos, I climbed right back into bed. I was on vacation afterall!SOLD

This just jumps from page. How absolutely gorgeous, Ann! Love the textures you get with your palette knife too. I still remember a cake you frosted using your palette knives and colored icings.
Seeing your work made me happy this morning. I just discovered Provincetown and Wellfleet last week- can't believe it took me 50 years! I want to work in a dunes shack next Summer- wouldn't that be great?
