It only took me 12 years to figure out that I could combine my two most popular paintings-Entering Provincetown and The Red Inn. The light bulb went off and here is the result. This painting is now on display at the red inn for the summer season and we'll be heading up there soon to see if someone decided to bring it home with them.

Jacqui saw this painting I posted on Facebook when I was asking for help coming up with a title for it. She suggested My Blue Heaven because it reminded her of one of her favorite places near where she grew up on Long Island. The inspiration was actually Wellfleet on Cape Cod, but since Jacqui decided to purchase the painting, it's her blue heaven now!

I was looking for inspiration for my upcoming series of paintings to take up to the red inn this year and I saw the photo that inspired this painting on the Facebook page called Cape Cod Photography. I asked the photographer, Jeff Krehely, if he would give me permission to paint it. I was fortunate that he said yes!
Chuck saw the painting I posted on Instagram and told me that the house with the porch swing is where he spent his wedding week in Provincetown. Chuck decided to purchase it as an anniversary gift for his husband.
I just love when my art can make a meaningful connection like that with someone!
