New Boston painting: The Custom House

The Custom House, Boston

6" x 12" x 2"

Oil with palette knives on Ampersand Gessobord

SOLD

I'm working on a series of Boston paintings inspired by lunch time walks when I used to work downtown. Here is the first in the series, The Custom House. At the top of this building there is an observatory that has incredible 360 views of Boston. It's a hidden secret that not many people know or talk about. I took these images from a recent visit.

This observation viewfinder looked like a lady's face to me.
They even have a Peregrine falcon cam where you can watch the nest of some resident falcons.

Here are are few close ups of the painting.
