Today we hung our paintings at the Barnes & Noble in Walpole. Here are a few shots of the exhibit which will be up for the month of July. We hope that everyone enjoys the view while they sip their Vente-Two-Pump-Vanilla-Non-Fat-Extra-Hot-Lattes.
After many years as a graphic designer, I was inspired to start painting again after taking a workshop in Boston. The Mini Masters Series started as an exercise in color mixing and a study of warm and cool colors using only a painting knife. But as I painted them, I found myself studying every stroke in the composition, it’s color and it’s purpose. I still use only a painting knife because I love the thick, rich strokes of color I can create with it.
If you are interested in commissioning a painting, here is a price list of my most popular sizes.
8" x 8"$150 plus shipping
8" x 10"$160 plus shipping
10" x 10" $180 plus shipping
9" x 12"$200 plus shipping
The panels I paint on come in various thicknesses: 3/8", 3/4". and 1.5" thick as shown below. Allow at least 6 weeks for painting, drying, and shipping time.
