This photo was submitted to me by a fellow blogger earlier in the year when I was asking for photo submissions to paint for a show back in June. She recently posted on her blog that it would have been her father's 73rd birthday had he not died of lung cancer at the young age of 47. It made me remember that I had this image of her and her sister sitting on their daddy's lap so I had to add it to my sketchbook. Thinking of you Autumn Leaves.

Oh my goodness, Ann!!! You've so made my day for me. Admittedly I've been rather grouchy today with Michael so this has served to cheer both of us up so very much! It looks fabulous!!! I have to show it to my mom and my sister too! Your friendship means so much to me; you'll never truly know how much. Thank you, my friend.
