A popular place to watch the sunset

Red Inn, White and Blue
24" x 24" x 2"
Oil with a palette knife on Ampersand Gessobord
SOLD

This beautiful deck is a very popular place to watch the sunset at The Red Inn in Provincetown. I am excited that the inn is now officially open for the 2014 summer season and this painting is currently on display there along with several other my and Polo's paintings. Start your summer engines!

Here are a few progress shots I took along the way..

That is a beautiful deck indeed, Ann! Once again I am amazed at the smoothness you are getting with the palette knife; such a different look than all the texture I usually see in palette knife paintings. You are so very skilled and talented and your pieces keep growing in beauty. How I'd love to sit here with a book, a glass of iced tea...and maybe a hat to keep the sun off of me!

I am happy to start my summer engines just as soon as I turn off the heat....
