Summer by the Sea

Summer by the Sea

Oil with a palette knife on Ampersand Gessobord

I cannot believe that it is still snowing here in Boston. All day Saturday and again this morning. It has really been a long, cold, and trying winter. Our yard is still a sea of white.

I painted this subject matter in an attempt to make summer get here faster. I can't count on spring anymore.

Oh, sorry about the snow. I can imagine it's getting old. Yup, I think you should go straight from winter to summer, too. Love your painting!

You certainly deserve some summer days and this beauty will sure do it. I feel I could walk down the path and happily paddle my feet in the ocean.
