MacMillan Pier is a ribbon winner

MacMillan Pier, Provincetown
8" x 10"
Oil with a palette knife on canvas
SOLD

I was pleased to find out that this painting I entered into the Spring Foxboro Art Association won an honorable mention ribbon. The juror, Robin Wessman took the time to write a little something about each painting he awarded a ribbon. Here is what he wrote about this piece:

"This painting 'feels' like summer! Bright light, scene itself & colors. Picked out things that highlight what summer on water is all about."

For someone who loves summer, this was so great to hear!

Congratulations and yes, it does feel like summer in this piece.

From another palette knife painter who loves boats and water. :)
