The photo I used for inspiration for this painting was taken by Garth Battista. I first saw the image on the Cape Cod Photography page on Facebook and asked his permission to use it for painting inspiration. I just loved the colors of the night sky (or is it morning sky?), the moon, and the lone fishing boat adding to the serenity of the painting.
