This commission has made its way to these lucky grandparents in Chicago. Their good friend Betsy wanted to give them a special gift so she asked if I could paint from a photo that they loved of a special day with their two grandkids. Isn't it the sweetest picture?

Here is a photo I took of my set up at the art gallery showing the painting in progress. I was painting during a playoff game-thus the hat!
