I'm pretty sure this is a European Robin, but all you bird experts out there can tell me if that is correct. This little guy was a quick painting at the end of a long day but was a great exercise in capturing the texture of feathers and branches with a palette knife.

Gosh Ann. I now have so many favorites of your art pieces that I don't know which end is up! This is another. I think this is gorgeous and reminds me of Christmas for some reason (maybe the greens). So beautiful!

Very Nice! Your technique lends itself to birds. I like the way the bird stands out from the soft background.
