My sister Cathy recently made a big transition and moved from her cherished home of many years to another house. In the move, she lost the companionship of her friend Nala, who used to visit her on a regualar basis and considered Cathy and her house her second home. Cathy misses her terribly. So as a birthday surprise, I decided to paint this portrait of Nala for her so she even though she can't see her in person, she can be reminded of her every day.
