On one of our last visits to Provincetown, we took a walk out on this the jetty from the West End and nearly made it to the lighthouse before we decided to turn back. This view is what you see on your return-the monument and the sunset. So pretty.
I saw a photo on the Cape Cod Photography Facebook page that captured that view perfectly and asked the photographer Justin Stark if I could use it as inspiration for a painting. He said yes and here is the result.
