I had an urge to paint something that had no perspective, no lines, and no windows. Just large expanses of color that I could really attack with the palette knife. I think I finished this painting in less than an hour. Really freeing.

Gorgeous sky and exquisite rolling surf. Who doesn't benefit from a little "freeing?"
