The two Renoir commissioned paintings from my previous post never made it to their new home. The paintings were mailed over the holidays and when the box arrived at its destination, it had been opened and was empty.
Is that bizarre or what? Luckily the box was insured, but still very, very bizarre. And I have a very disappointed customer.
So if you happen to see anyone trying to sell some Renoir knock offs out there, can you let me know?

Ann! I'm appalled! Wow! This is so tragic!!!!! More exclamation points!!!!!!
Oh my God Ann. That is horrible. How did you send i? UPS? USPS? FED EX? I can't believe that. Too sad....
That is so freaking horrible! I'll bet your customer is disappointed indeed! I hope that a police report has been filed and that the federales get involved. I think it is a federal offense to tamper with mail. I'm so sorry to hear of this, Ann! Will you be repainting these for your customer?
Oh No. This is bad all around. Sorry to here this.
I've only had one to disappear this past year. It went to Atlanta via the post office, then never left. I've no idea what happened to it. Bummer.
that is so awful, ann :/ hard to believe someone would do that - and, yes, i do believe it's a federal offense to tamper with mail of any kind. hope someone catches the person who would do something like this. terrible!
